Why Should I Choose PC OMR, NOT Traditional OMR reader ?

 1. How is PC OMR solution different from the traditional OMR reading systems?  

Traditional OMR readers provide a hardware-based solution for collecting data from tests and surveys forms. People must purchase dedicated OMR readers and specially printed forms from the OMR manufacturer at a substantial cost. 

PC OMR is software solution for collecting data from tests and surveys forms. No need to purchase dedicated and expensive OMR equipment –PC OMR works with imaging equipment (image scanner, PC camera, web camera, digital camera, or digital vidicon ) to collect data. No need to purchase pre-printed OMR forms either-- A lot of test forms are available for selection in PC OMR and the user is allowed to print them on plain paper.  

2. PC OMR works with image scanners. Aren’t image scanners really slow? Do I have to feed one page at a time?  

Some image scanners are very slow and some require you to feed one page at a time. We do not recommend that you use one of these models. There are many very fast image scanners with document feeders available on the market today.

PC camera and fast image scanner are recommended.  

3. Must I buy paper forms? 

We do not print or sell you paper forms. PC OMR provides many test forms for you to choose. You can print it on plain paper by yourself, using an office printer or copier. PC OMR can read test forms only provided by itself. If you need a new type of test form, we can customize it for you.    

4. What is the percentage of accuracy? How does it compare with the accuracy percentage published by other companies?
